The beaches of Marbella reach from Guadalmina to Las Chapas at a length of more than 30 km. Here are some informations on the beaches near Nueva Andalucia:
This beach is located next to Nueva Andalucia, just west of popular Puerto Banus Marina.
Nueva Andalucia beach has a high occupation in summer, and parking can be difficult. This beach is very popular with younger people as it is where you will find beach clubs with swimming pools (Buddha Beach Club, Ocean Club) amongst other restaurants (e.g. Pedro's Beach, Mistral Beach) and beach bars with sun beds and parasols.
There are many water sports activities you can practice, such as windsurfing, jet skiing, parasailing, pedal boats, kayaks and so on.
The beach has a length of 1.050 meters and an average width of 30 meters. The sand is fine and gray. The beach is formed by a series of small bays artificially created by break waters. Due to this walls, the water is usually calm.
Beach showers and public toilets are available, rubbish bins, observation towers, maritime rescue service and first aid. There is an active monitoring of beaches during the high season.
Levante Beach is situated on the east side of the famous Puerto Banus Marina.
Levante Beach is very popular and has lots of sunbeds. Various beach bar chiringuitos are situated on the beach where you can enjoy a meal or a drink.
Playa Levante is approximately 500 meters long by 300 meters wide and holds a European blue flag for beach quality. From here you can walk along the beach without obstical to Marbella Town.
During the summer season life guards watch swimmers from the lookout tower.
Rio Verde Playa (green river beach) is located on the east of Puerto Banus, next to the river Verde. You cross over the river on a footbridge to access the beach. The beach is also backed by the Paseo Maritimo. There is parking at this beach but in the summer months it can be difficult as it gets very busy, arrive as early as possible to secure a space.
This beach is a tourist beach with a medium occupation level. It is also popular with younger people. Different water sports are practiced here such as windsurf, jet skiing, waterbikes, etc. In its proximity are the remains of a Hispano Roman villa, known as Villa Romana de Rio Verde, from the first century.
This beach has a length of 1500 meters and an average width of 40 meters. Playa de Rio Verde is known for the astonishing gold-and-pink hues of the sand that proceeds mostly from the Rio Verde River.
Rio Verde beach has showers and public services, rubbish bins, vigilance towers, surveillance in the summer, sea rescue and first aid. The municipal cleaning service carries out the daily maintenance of the beach both manually and mechanically.
The most exclusive beach in Marbella is Playa Nagüeles, located next to Marbella Golden Mile, next to the Marbella Club village. It starts next to the Puente Romano Hotel and runs until the Marbella beach club / Playa de Casablanca area. Due to its massive popularity this beach is always very busy, especially during peak summer months. It is child friendly with gentle sloping water.
The beach is flanked by the recently built promenade Paseo Maritimo. has contributed to the popularity of the beach, making it even easier for visitors to walk along white sands and enjoy the stunning Mediterranean climate. made up by blonde colored sand proceeding from a regeneration process.
There are many sports on this beach, including windsurfing, pedal boats, jet skis, etc. Among its facilities there are two representative Hotel Puente Romano and Marbella Club Hotel, as well as two beach clubs and a beach bar. The exclusive Trocadero Playa restaurant is situated right on Nagueles beach. One of Marbella's best and specialising in local, Andalusian cuisine, the food is quite simply exquisite.
It is a beach with a length of 800 meters and an average width of 50 meters. The sand is fine and golden.
The beach has ample facilities including showers and public toilets, waste paper bins, vigilance towers, life saving and first aid equipment. This beach is monitored by life guards in summer. Playa Nagüeles is cleaned daily, both by machine and by hand. The beach area is exceptionally clean.
This beach is also located on Marbella's legendary Golden Mile and can be considered a tourist beach with an average occupation.
There is a wide range of water sport activities you could practice, such as windsurfing, pedal boats, jet skis, etc.. There are also six beach restaurants with sun beds.
Casa Blanca beach is a beach with a length of 2,000 meters and an average width of 45 m, consisting of regenerated golden sand. It is flanked by the pedestrian promenade Paseo Maritimo.
There is a municipal cleaning service with showers and public utilities, bins, municipal surveillance, sea rescue services and first aid during the summer.
There are showers and public toilets, watch towers, and a lifeguard and first aid service, in the busy summer season.
